Team training

Formats Delivery Languages Customization

OculiX has a learning curve. The IDE is straightforward, but visual automation as a discipline has patterns and pitfalls that take time to internalize on your own. A structured training compresses that learning into hours instead of weeks.

Half-day intro (4h)

Audience: a team adopting OculiX, needs to be productive next week.

Covers: visual automation concepts, OculiX IDE essentials, writing your first 5 scripts, debugging the inevitable first failures, where to find help.

Format: remote (Zoom / Teams), 4 hours with breaks. Up to 15 people. Recording included.

1-day immersive (7h)

Audience: a team that needs to ship real OculiX in production within the month.

Covers: half-day intro PLUS Jython scripting patterns, error handling, image-anchoring strategies, OCR usage, integration with your CI, scheduling, monitoring.

Format: remote or on-site, 1 day. Up to 12 people for full engagement. Materials + recording included.

2-day deep dive (14h)

Audience: a team that will OWN OculiX in your organization, with growing complexity needs.

Covers: 1-day immersive PLUS advanced patterns (multi-monitor handling, scaling parallel execution, custom helpers in Java, performance tuning, Operix bridging, MCP audit module).

Format: on-site recommended (better for hands-on labs), 2 consecutive days. Up to 10 people. Includes a take-home runbook customized to your stack.

Multi-day workshop (3-5 days)

Audience: a team migrating a significant volume of automation, or onboarding multiple squads.

Covers: the 2-day program PLUS dedicated time to migrate / build real scripts from your backlog under guidance, code review of existing scripts, architecture consultation.

Format: on-site only. Scope and curriculum co-designed with you upfront.

Training has been delivered to:

QA teams onboarding visual testing

Manual QA squads transitioning to scripted visual testing. Curriculum emphasizes test patterns, assertion strategies, false-positive management, CI integration.

Operations teams writing first automation

Ops engineers who never wrote test scripts but need to automate operator-facing workflows. Curriculum starts from scratch on scripting concepts, focuses on robustness and error reporting.

Development teams integrating OculiX

Software developers embedding OculiX in their applications or test suites. Curriculum skips intro, focuses on API usage, advanced patterns, custom Java extensions, performance.

Security teams evaluating OculiX

Security / compliance teams reviewing OculiX for regulated deployment. Curriculum focuses on architecture, MCP audit module, supply chain (SBOM), CVE response process, on-prem hardening.

Customization (what “tailored to your stack” means in practice)

Section titled “Customization (what “tailored to your stack” means in practice)”

Before the session we collect, via a short questionnaire:

  • Your OculiX version and target version
  • Your target OS(es)
  • Your scripting language preference (Jython, Java, Robot Framework wrapper)
  • Your CI / scheduling stack (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Airflow, etc.)
  • Your monitoring / alerting setup
  • 3-5 representative real workflows your team needs to automate
  • Any existing patterns / conventions you already use

The session is then built around those answers:

  • Examples use your domain language (not generic e-commerce examples if you’re a healthcare org)
  • Hands-on labs run in an environment similar to yours (we set up a sandbox mirroring your tooling)
  • CI integration demos use your actual CI, not a generic one
  • Take-home runbook references your team’s tooling, not generic OculiX URLs

This is a real material customization, not just renaming variables in slides.

Slide deck

Customized PDF + PPTX, deliverable to your internal training library. Reusable internally without restriction.

Hands-on lab scripts

Live-coded during the session, delivered as a git-cloneable folder. Includes the answer key for each exercise.

Recording

Full session recording, delivered as MP4 + transcript. Yours to keep, reuse for onboarding new team members.

Custom runbook

A take-home document tailored to your stack: how to run, debug, scale, monitor OculiX in YOUR specific environment. Updates as we discover edge cases together during the session.

Follow-up email channel

30 days of email follow-up included with every multi-day engagement. Your team can ask follow-up questions after the session as real production usage starts.

Slide source

For organizations training their own internal trainers, the slide source (PPTX with editable diagrams) is part of the deliverable. Build your own program from there.

French insurance group — 2 days, 8 engineers

Two consecutive days on-site in Paris, for a QA team migrating from manual UI testing to OculiX-driven regression. Day 1: fundamentals + IDE + first scripts on their actual application. Day 2: CI integration with Jenkins, scheduling, advanced error handling. Take-home runbook included their specific Jenkins pipeline templates.

APAC retail — half-day, 12 engineers

Remote half-day in Singapore time zone, for an ops team picking up OculiX from a senior engineer who was leaving. Compressed format focused on the 80% they’d need immediately. Follow-up 30 days later was a 1h Q&A as they hit real production questions.

US healthcare — 1 day, security team

Remote 1-day deep dive for the InfoSec team of a US hospital network. Curriculum was 100% on architecture, MCP audit module, supply chain (SBOM, OWASP Dependency-Check), CVE response. Outcome: OculiX cleared internal security review.

German manufacturing — 3 days, mixed audience

On-site multi-day workshop covering Day 1 fundamentals (operations team), Day 2 intermediate (dev team integrating OculiX), Day 3 advanced (the OculiX champion). 18 people total across days. Each day’s audience tailored.

Beyond these numbers, hands-on labs become unwieldy and the value drops sharply. We can run multiple consecutive sessions for larger teams instead.

Yes, every session is recorded by default and you receive the MP4 + transcript. Internal reuse is unrestricted (use it for onboarding for years). External redistribution (publishing publicly) requires a quick conversation.

Do you train in French as well as English?

Section titled “Do you train in French as well as English?”

Yes — the maintainer is a French-speaking QA Architect with 20+ years of experience in French enterprises (Groupama, STIME, defense, biotech, aerospace, retail). Sessions can be delivered in English or French, materials in the language of your choice.

By format, scoped on the questionnaire answers. Multi-day on-site engagements include travel (which is a non-trivial cost depending on your location). Remote half-day is the most economical entry point.

We can do a 45-min sample lecture on a topic of your choice, free, before you commit to a full engagement. Lets your team gauge the style and the technical depth.

Is there a discount for repeat sessions / multiple teams?

Section titled “Is there a discount for repeat sessions / multiple teams?”

Yes — second and subsequent sessions for the same organization (within 12 months) are at a reduced rate, because the curriculum customization carries over.

Yes, that’s the multi-day workshop with slide source delivered. After the workshop, your internal trainer can run subsequent sessions for new joiners using the materials we delivered, with optional Q&A back-channel to the maintainer.

OculiX itself doesn’t offer a formal certification (we don’t run an exam program). Some clients self-certify their internal team using our materials as the curriculum baseline. If formal OculiX certification matters to your org, that’s a roadmap conversation we’re open to.
